Aditya Roy Kapur will play an out-and-out action hero in his upcoming film Om: The Battle Within. While he did some action scenes in Malang, he will be pulling off high-octane stunts as a soldier in this film. In OM, Aditya Roy Kapur is truly a one-man army.
The action-packed and explosive trailer for the film, which also stars Sanjana Sanghi, was released by the actor. The hunk plays a commando who happens to be the best in the country. However, after a mission goes wrong, he is left with amnesia and no recollection of his life other than that of his father, played by Jackie Shroff.
When asked about his training, the actor, who grew up idolising action stars such as Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jackie Chan, Sylvester Stallone, and Sanjay Dutt, stated, “I undertook four months of martial arts. Then two hours of action training during the day and two hours of weight training at night. I have worked hard as the idea is to come across as an action hero. However, I don’t want to limit myself to only one genre, but do a variety of roles.”
