Lindsay Lohan Marries Bader Shammas: “I Am the Luckiest Woman in the World”

Lindsay Lohan‘s birthday is extra special this year. Just one day before she turned 36 on July 2, Lohan revealed she said “I do” to her longtime boyfriend, Bader Shammas. The “Parent Trap” actor announced that she and Shammas are married in a July 1 Instagram post, where she wrote that she’s “the luckiest woman in the world.” The couple first announced their engagement in November.

In her post, Lohan shared a photo of herself and Shammas alongside an emoji-filled caption praising her new husband. “I am the luckiest woman in the world,” she wrote. “You found me and knew that I wanted to find happiness and grace, all at the same time. I am stunned that you are my husband. My life and my everything. ❤️every woman should feel like this everyday 🙏💖.”

Back in November, Lohan confirmed her engagement when she shared a series of photos of herself smiling and cuddling with Shammas on Instagram. “My love. My life. My family. My future. @bader.shammas #love 💍,” she captioned the romantic shots.

It’s unclear how long Lohan and Shammas have been dating, but they were first linked together way back in 2020 when she first shared a photo of herself with the financier on Instagram. The pair appear to have met in Dubai, where Lohan moved in 2014.

Prior to meeting Shammas, Lohan shared with Entertainment Tonight the kind of man she was looking to spend her life with – and her new husband certainly seems to be her dream guy. “Someone who hates the spotlight,” Lohan said in 2019. “No, seriously, someone who doesn’t have Instagram. [And] a smart businessman. But I haven’t met anyone that’s hit those [marks].”

It seems now the queen of the ’00s teen movie scene has met her match, and she couldn’t be happier.
