Hollywood icon Warren Beatty has been sued for allegedly coercing a 14-year-old girl into sex when he was at the height of his fame in 1973.

Beatty, now 85, has been accused of having “coerced sexual contact” with the 14-year-old girl “on multiple occasions”, a document obtained by Fox News Digital from the Los Angeles Superior Court reveals.

Hirsch, who now lives in Louisiana, claims she met Beatty – then aged 35 – on a movie set in 1973, where he paid her “undue attention”.

According to Fox News Digital, Beatty is not mentioned by name and is instead titled “Defendant Doe”.

Yet details included in the suit appeared to identify him – specifically a sentence that describes the defendant as the actor who portrayed Clyde in the 1967 Bonnie and Clyde film and earned an Academy Award nomination for his performance.

In the suit, Beatty is further labelled as “a renowned and well-known actor and producer” who “used his position and status as an adult and a Hollywood movie star to coerce sexual contact with plaintiff on multiple occasions, including oral sex, simulated sex and finally coerced sexual intercourse with the minor child”.

In the suit, Hirsch alleges Beatty pursued her over some time, first commenting on her looks and then giving her his phone number, before proceeding to call her several times.

The alleged interactions progressed to Beatty then inviting Hirsch to his hotel, taking her on car rides and offering to help her with homework. He also allegedly commented numerous times about losing her virginity.

Hirsch is reportedly seeking compensation for psychological, mental and emotional distress.

She states that she has “issues with trust and control” because of the incidents, and difficulty interacting with people in positions of authority as a result of sexual abuse.

“As a direct result of the molestation by defendant Doe, plaintiff has had issues with her personal life, such as issues with trust and control,” the complaint reads. “These feelings have caused plaintiff substantial emotional distress, guilt, anxiety, nervousness and fear.”

According to Variety, representatives for Beatty have not responded to requests for comment.
