What to Know About Kate Hudson’s Famous Family

Kate Hudson has kept us laughing for decades. After breaking into the acting industry with small television roles in “Party of Five” and “EZ Streets,” Kate established herself as a comedy movie star by making her film debut in the 1998 film “Desert Blue.” She then continued making her mark in the genre with roles in movies like “Almost Famous,” “Raising Helen,” and “You, Me and Dupree.” Soon enough, she also earned the title of a rom-com queen by being the leading lady in “Alex & Emma,” “How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days,” “My Best Friend’s Girl,” and more.

While Kate’s acting résumé is impressive, she’s also become quite the businesswoman. In 2013, she collaborated with the online fashion retailer Techstyle Fashion Group to launch her own line of workout clothes called Fabletics. The venture inspired Kate to write her first book, “Pretty Happy: Healthy Ways to Love Your Body,” which was released in 2016. The book was followed by its sequel “Pretty Fun: Creating and Celebrating a Lifetime of Tradition” in 2017. Kate has also branched outside of acting by becoming a brand ambassador for New York & Company, launching her own vodka called King St. Vodka, and starting a podcast with her brother, Oliver Hudson, called “Sibling Revelry.”

Kate definitely comes from a talented family. Her mother, Goldie Hawn, her father, Bill Hudson, and her stepfather, Kurt Russell, have all made names for themselves in Hollywood. Their acting credits are only further proof that Kate was born to be in the spotlight.
