Pathaan is one of the most anticipated films coming up. The spy thriller features a star-studded cast including Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. With plenty of teasers going around, quite a few details from the film are out. Now, director Siddharth Anand has revealed new details about John Abraham’s character.
John Abraham is all set to play the arch-enemy of Pathaan – Jim. Talking about the character, Anand shared, “I have always believed in the fact that the villain’s projection should be as big, if not bigger than that of the hero’s. Only when the villain is massive, can the tussle between them be spectacular.”
He also added that Pathaan will see an epic clash between Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham’s characters. “We have an extraordinary battle when SRK takes on John,” he teased.
So far, the trailer of Pathaan and two songs – Besharam Rang and Jhoome Jo Pathaan are out. The film is set in a dystopian world where a spy takes on powerful criminals.
Pathaan is set to release on January 25, 2023.
