Gwyneth Paltrow Spends New Year’s With Moses and Apple in New Vacation Photos

Gwyneth Paltrow ushered in 2023 surrounded by some of the people she loves the most: her 18-year-old daughter, Apple, 16-year-old son, Moses, and mom, Blythe Danner. On Dec. 31, the Goop founder shared three photos from her beachy vacation on Instagram, including a family portrait, a special photo featuring her mom and kids, and a pic of her and Apple lounging in their bikinis.

It’s unclear if the “Iron Man” actor’s husband, Brad Falchuk, joined the family on vacation, but he and Paltrow just returned from a trip to Paris a few weeks ago. At the time, she shared a collection of photos from their trip on Instagram captioned, “City of love with you know who.”

Meanwhile, Paltrow captioned her New Year’s family vacation post, “Wrapped up 2022 with a lot of ❤️ and a little bit of 🌊.” While Apple and Moses (whom the actor shares with her ex, Coldplay lead singer Chris Martin) pop up on her feed a bit more often these days, there was a time when Paltrow’s eldest had strict rules in place about which photos her mom was allowed to share of her online. Per the Guardian, in 2019, the then 14-year-old commented on a photo her mom shared to Instagram, writing, “Mom we have discussed this. You may not post anything without my consent.”

It seems these days, Apple is more comfortable with her mom sharing photos of her on her grid. In March 2022, Paltrow even paid tribute to her daughter on International Women’s Day.

“Happy international womens day. I’ve been spending the morning thinking about all of the incredible women I love, who love me back hard,” she captioned a photo of herself facetiming with Apple. “I keep thinking about the women I have known since kindergarten or 7th grade, who are more strongly in my life than almost ever. But today I want to pay tribute to one (technically almost) woman on the cusp of it. This woman gives me hope for the future of sisterhood, and for the future of our planet. And this woman has made me the woman I am today more than anyone else.”
