MS Dhoni to produce his first Tamil movie

After a tremendously successful cricket career, former team India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni is moving into film production.  LGM aka Let’s Get Married, a lighthearted family drama, will be his first Tamil production.Dhoni’s supporters were overjoyed by this and wished him luck with his new endeavour.

On the official Twitter account of Dhoni’s production company, the official motion poster for the movie was unveiled. Ramesh Thamilmani, who is also serving as the music composer for the film, will direct it. According to the official press release, the movie was conceptualised by Sakshi Dhoni, managing director of Dhoni Entertainment.

LGM was introduced in Chennai with a puja ceremony that drew a large celebrity crowd. The lead actor in the film will be Pyaar Prema Kadhal’s Harish Kalyan. Ivana, who gained international attention for her role in the hit movie Love Today, will play the female lead in the movie LGM, which also stars Yogi Babu and seasoned performer Nadiya. Vishwajith handled the cinematography for the movie.

When discussing the venture into Tamil films, Sakshi Dhoni said, “We look forward to being here and doing more such meaningful stories.” On the other hand, the film’s director Ramesh Thamilmani, who has also penned the script for the film, said, “We are excited to start this fascinating journey today. I assure you that this fun-filled film will be one that the entire family can enjoy.”
