Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo’s Best Quotes About Raising Their Kids

In it together! When it comes to raising their little ones, Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo make a great team.

The couple, who wed in July 2014, became parents for the first time when they welcomed their daughter Dusty Rose in September 2016. Shortly after the birth of their daughter, the Maroon 5 frontman opened up about his new journey into fatherhood.

“I’ve been a parent for three weeks; what do I know? I don’t know anything, but it’s kind of part of the beauty of it, honestly,” he reflected in an interview with Ryan Seacrest in October 2016. “There are a lot of instincts, a lot of things that kind of kick in and switch on. It’s a beautiful experience.”

Nearly two years after welcoming Dusty, the former Victoria’s Secret Angel was pregnant again. The pair welcomed daughter Gio in February 2018 and became a family of four. Levine opened up about his and his wife’s new family dynamic and how they were handling it all.

“As soon as I can be a parent at any time during the day I do it,” the “Payphone” crooner shared to E! News in April 2018. “And that’s kind of like as a dad too, you gotta be there, that’s a big thing, being around all the time.”

The Voice alum also divulged that he considered himself and Behati their family’s “A-Team” while their kids are “the B-Team.”

“A-Team has to be fresh, functional, relaxed and happy to deal with the B-Team, which is your children,” he explained to the outlet. “A-Team is your other person, this is my girl … we have to be ready for you. If we’re not ready for you, the A-Team is not ready for the B-Team, we have problems, no one’s going to have any fun.”

Three years after welcoming their second child, Prinsloo teased she wanted to expand their family — but the duo were not in a rush to do so.

“We always knew we wanted a second one,” she told Entertainment Tonight in November 2021. “So I think for me … when I had two babies under the age of 2, I was just like, ‘Don’t even think about it!‘ I do also want five kids. But don’t even think about it. Never say never. We want a big family. Who knows? We’re leaving it up to fate and just what happens. What will happen, will happen. So there are no limits to it.”

In September 2022, the Calirosa cofounder announced she was expecting her and Levine’s third child. That same month, model Sumner Stroh claimed via a viral TikTok video that she had an inappropriate relationship with the “She Will Be Loved” crooner. Stroh also alleged that he asked permission to name his and Prinsloo’s third child “Sumner.” Levine, for his part, denied having an affair.

“I used poor judgment in speaking with anyone other than my wife in ANY kind of flirtatious manner,” he said in a statement at the time. “I did not have an affair, nevertheless, I crossed the line during a regrettable period of my life. In certain instances it became inappropriate.”

Levine continued: “My wife and my family is all I care about in this world. To be this naive and stupid enough to risk the only thing that truly matters to me was the greatest mistake I could ever make. I will never make it again. I take full responsibility. We will get through it and we will get through it together.”

In January 2023, Prinsloo and Levine welcomed their third child.
