Naatu Naatu is the first Telugu song to be nominated for an Academy Award in the Best Original Song category. It beat out famous names like Rihanna and Lady Gaga to win the honour. Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava, as well as composer and director SS Rajamouli and lead stars Jr NTR and Ram Charan, attended the awards ceremony.

The lyrical composition by MM Keeravani, the high-intensity renditions by singers Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava, the distinctive choreography by Prem Rakshith, and the lyrics by Chandrabose are all factors that contribute to the success of this RRR popular song.
