Writer and historian Tom Holland asks Indian fans to stop tagging him on social media

Writer and historian Tom Holland has requested that Indian fans stop tagging him in the pictures of Hollywood actor Tom Holland’s pictures taken with Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan at the star-studded Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC) event.

On Twitter, a number of fans posted the images, but many users became confused and, without double-checking and tagged author Tom Holland in the tweets.

It is to be noted that actor Tom Holland’s account is not verified on Twitter but the author Tom Holland’s account was and he grew tired of Indian fans thinking that he was the actor.

The author shared a viral picture of the actor where he was tagged and tweeted, “Please make it stop.” He also added, “It seems like I have the whole of India in my timeline!”


Meanwhile, Tom Holland was in Mumbai for the first time and attended the NMACC gala on the second day with Zendaya. After the event, the actor took to Instagram stories and shared a picture of him shaking hands with Mukesh Ambani.

He also penned a note and wrote, “Thank you to the Ambani family for inviting us to celebrate the opening of the @nmacc.india. A truly wonderful experience that I’ll never forget.”
