The highly anticipated The Marvels just got its first teaser trailer. The upcoming film, which is a sequel to Captain Marvel will see Brie Larson, Iman Vellani and Tenoyah Parris team up for an all-female superhero adventure.
The teaser trailer of The Marvels opens with Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) and Monica Rambeau (Tenoyah Parris) having a communication glitch at the Saber Space Station before Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani) in an astronaut’s suit bumps into Fury leaving him confused. We then find out that Monica, Kamala and Carol Danvers’ powers are entangled causing them to teleport at random. The trio then gets together to investigate the strange phenomenon.

The official synopsis reads, “Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel has reclaimed her identity from the tyrannical Kree and taken revenge on the Supreme Intelligence. But unintended consequences see Carol shouldering the burden of a destabilised universe. When her duties send her to an anomalous wormhole linked to a Kree revolutionary, her powers become entangled with that of Jersey City super-fan Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel, and Carol’s estranged niece, now S.A.B.E.R. astronaut Captain Monica Rambeau. Together, this unlikely trio must team up and learn to work in concert to save the universe.”
The Marvels is directed by Nia DaCosta who is making her Marvel directorial debut. The film also features South Korean actor Park Seo-Joon best known for his role in Itaewon Class.
The Marvels is set to release on November 10, 2023.
