The Song Of Scorpions Trailer: Irrfan Khans last film is a heart-wrenching story of love

The trailer of Irrfan Khan’s last film The Song of Scorpions is finally out. The film is directed by Anup Singh and also stars Golshifteh Farahani, Waheeda Rehman, Shashank Arora and Tillotama Shome.

The trailer of the film was shared by Irrfan’s son Babil Khan on social media who wrote, “Bringing alive a heart-wrenching tale of love, obsession and betrayal. #TheSongOfScorpions Trailer out now!”

The film is a folktale set in Rajasthan’s Thar desert and stars Irrfan as a camel salesman who falls in love with Nooran, a woman who is learning from her grandmother the therapeutic art of using songs to cure those bit by scorpions. 

The trailer shows Nooran travelling by foot from village to village to heal people bitten by Scorpios to save their lives. It also showcases the love story between the two but before the couple could tie the knot, a tragedy strikes her, halting their plans.

The Song of Scorpions is all slated to hit the cinemas around Irrfan’s third death anniversary, which falls on April 29.
