Travis Scott might just skip “Wonka” when it hits theaters later this year. On July 28, Scott released his new album, “Utopia,” and fans are convinced his song “Meltdown” features a Timothée Chalamet diss. Chalamet is rumored to be dating Scott’s ex Kylie Jenner with whom he shares daughter Stormi and son Aire. POPSUGAR reached out to reps for Scott, Chalamet, and Jenner about the song’s lyrics but did not receive an immediate response.
In the song, Scott raps: “Chocolate AP and chocolate the Vs / Got the Willy Wonka factory / Burn a athlete like it’s calories / Find another flame hot as me, b*tch.” The Willy Wonka mention is raising eyebrows since Chalamet is set to play the fictional chocolate factory owner in the upcoming film “Wonka,” and he and Jenner have been rumored to be seeing each other since April. However, neither Chalamet nor Jenner have commented on the rumors.
Meanwhile, Scott and Jenner split earlier this year. In addition to sharing two children, the former couple had been in an on-again, off-again relationship since 2017. Despite their split, the two appear to have remained amicable. In early April, Scott commented on one of his ex’s Instagram posts, writing simply, “A beauty.”
As for Chalamet and Jenner, they first sparked dating rumors in early April when the reality TV star’s car was spotted in Chalamet’s driveway by TMZ. On June 1, Page Six published photographs of the pair hanging out with Chalamet’s family at a barbecue in May. Although neither of them have commented on their rumored romance, a source told Entertainment Tonight in April that the two are keeping things “casual.”
“They are keeping things casual at this point. It’s not serious, but Kylie is enjoying hanging out with Timothée and seeing where it goes,” the source said. “It’s been really fun for her because it feels a lot different than her past relationships. It’s new and exciting for Kylie and she’s having a lot of fun.”
