After four years of marriage, singer Joe Jonas and actor Sophie Turner are on the verge of divorcing. According to reports, the couple has been experiencing “serious problems” for at least six months. The two children of the couple have been with Joe while he tours the US, according to a source, and he has been taking care of them “pretty much all of the time.”
As a result, the singer sent the actor an invitation to meet up while his tour was in the UK.
“We talked for hours, and hours, and hours. And I wasn’t bored. It wasn’t contrived, it wasn’t small talk — it was just so easy. Soon, we were inseparable. And then I went on tour with him,” Sophie said. They have made a lot of public appearances, and various outlets have claimed that they are dating. With a photo of Joe, Sophie declared their relationship on Instagram public on January 1st.
The pair made a sweet social media announcement about their engagement in October 2017. Joe wrote,“She said yes,” Sophie captioned, “I said yes.”
The couple wed in Las Vegas on the spur of the moment in May 2019. “We had to get legally married in the States, so we thought it’d be really fun to get all of our friends, invite them out, and do an impromptu wedding. And we actually had some people that I didn’t really even know that well there,” he said in an interview.
They got married again at Le Château de Tourreau in Sarrians, France, a month later.
In July 2020, Sophie and Joe gave birth to a girl, becoming parents for the first time. They had their second female child in July 2022.
