Star’s shock resignation letter released: ‘I’m not coming back!’

Lisa Rinna shocked fans earlier this year when she announced she wouldn’t be returning to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

Now her shock resignation letter to producers has been revealed after rumours were rife she was “fired” from the show.

In a new teaser for the upcoming season, a screenshot was shared on screen of Rinna’s email which told producers she ”wasn’t coming back”.

In the teaser, former co-star Erika Jayne addresses Rinna’s shock exit while walking into a retreat organised for the cast.

“So I am walking in like a man on my own island. My friend is gone,” Jayne says.

The email was dated September 10, last year.

According to Page Six, there were originally theories and rumours that Rinna was “fired” from the show, but the email disproves that.

Rinna, 60, also previously hit back at claims she was on “pause” from the show – to possibly come back – a theory pushed by Andy Cohen.

A representative for Rinna told Hollywood Life: “[Lisa] is not ‘ON PAUSE ‘ and there was never any discussion with anyone about that concept. Her contract ended, and the parties mutually agreed not to engage on a new one. She felt her time on the show had run its course and she was more than happy to move on. And she still does not regret it.”

In January, Rinna shocked fans when she announced her exit, saying in a statement to multiple outlets: “This is the longest job I have held in my 35 year career and I am grateful to everyone at Bravo and all those involved in the series.”

She added: “It has been a fun eight-year run and I am excited for what is to come!”

Rinna was on the show for eight seasons, from 2014 – 2022.
