One of Bollywood’s most versatile actresses Konkana Sen Sharma started her journey with Bengali films at a very young age in 1983. In 1989 she was also a part of her mother Aparna Sen’s directorial Sati which starred Shabana Azmi in the lead role.
Recently, a collage of Konkona’s pictures from the sets of Sati has been doing the rounds on social media. In the throwback pictures, Konkona can be seen dressed in a pink saree with a nose ring, bangles and earrings, looking lovely as she performs her part in the film.

A fan took to social media to share the pictures and pointed out that one picture included Shabana Azmi in the background. Konkona re-shared the pictures and wrote, “Haha love this!! It’s from my mum’s film Sati with the legend @AzmiShabana.”
Meanwhile, on the work front, the Wake Up Sid actress was last seen in the OTT series Killer Soup which starred Manoj Bajpayee and next she will be seen in Anurag Basu’s Metro…In Dino which has an ensemble cast including Sara Ali Khan and Aditya Roy Kapur.
