David Beckham and Victoria Beckham‘s matching purple wedding reception outfits is a pop culture moment many are not likely to forget soon – and not only because they’re that iconic.
The Spice Girl-footballer duo are marking their 25th wedding anniversary this year on July 4, and to celebrate, they slipped back into their now-famous nuptial ensembles.
“Look what we found… 😅💜,” David, 49, wrote on Instagram overnight alongside a photo of the duo holding hands as they sit, in their outfits, on gilded purple velvet chairs.

In the photo, Victoria, 50, can be seen smizing at the camera with her legs crossed, exposing her gown’s dramatic red lining and silver Grecian heels.
David, meanwhile, is gazing at his wife with a smile on his face, matching his all-purple suit and shirt with purple suede dress shoes and a purple boutonnière pinned to his lapel.

The couple married on July 4, 1999, three months after their first child, Brooklyn Beckham, was born.
They then went on to welcome three more children: 21-year-old son Romeo Beckham, 19-year-old son Cruz Beckham, and 12-year-old daughter Harper Beckham.
David actually opened up about their purple outfits last year in the couple’s Netflix docuseries, Beckham, saying: ”I’m trying to think back to when I decided to wear a purple suit, and I don’t know when that happened.”

He continued: “I think I just took Victoria’s lead on it, but what were we thinking?”
Victoria, meanwhile, said: ”But it was fun. We weren’t worried about what people were going to say. You just want to express yourself, that’s just who we were.”
The coordinating reception outfits were designed by Antonio Berardi, though it was Vera Wang who designed Victoria’s white ceremony gown, which featured a corset-style bodice and a full skirt with a six-metre-long train.
