During his visit, he made a substantial donation of Rs 1.21 crore to support the shrine’s renovation. This gesture follows his previous significant contribution of Rs 3 crore towards the Ram Mandir construction in Ayodhya.
The Haji Ali Dargah Trust shared their gratitude through an Instagram post, highlighting Kumar’s philanthropic spirit. They also mentioned that special prayers were offered for his late parents, Aruna Bhatia and Hari Om Bhatia. The post read, “We thank Bollywood star Padmashri Akshay Kumar for his generous donation of Rs.1,21,00,000 towards the renovation. Our prayers are with his departed parents, and we deeply appreciate his support.”
