Aussie swimmer Shayna Jack is engaged!
The Olympian, 25, who has just returned from the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, announced she is set to marry Australian field hockey player Joel Rintala.
“We’ve arrived back on Aus soil with news [eing emojis],” Jack shared on her Instagram story alongside their engagement photos.

Underneath engagement photos, she wrote: “10•08•2024 ♾️🤵🏽♂️Husband to be @joelrintala👰🏼♀️Wife to be @shayna_jack
She also shared a short reel featuring pictures of her stunning diamond ring in front of famous monuments and tourist attractions as they travelled around Europe.
“POV: You got engaged overseas 🤣🫣🥰,” she captioned her post.

Underneath her engagement post, her Aussie teammate Ariarne Titmus commented: “Woot woot <3 <3.”
Swimmer Bronte Campbell commented love heart emojis, while Brianna Throssell added: “Sooo happy for you both. Biggest congratulations!”
The couple are believed to have first started dating back in 2020.
It’s been a big few months for Jack, with the swimmer winning gold medals in Paris as part of the 4x100m and 4x200m freestyle teams.

Jack placed fifth in the 100m freestyle final in Paris earlier this month. Speaking to Nine she said she “didn’t know that I would be here or get to this point, so to be in that final with such amazing women was really special.”
She also credited her family and partner for support, saying: “It (the race) means more than anything to me, and have my mum and dad and my partner Joel in the stands and to even look up and see everyone out here supporting us, it is one of those things I’ll cherish forever.”
