We’re closing out 2025 with a rare Seinfeld reunion.
On December 28, Jerry Seinfeld shared two photos of himself enjoying a meet-up with co-stars Julia Louis-Dreyfus, 64, and Larry David, 78.
“‘The creatures were stirring…’ Christmas Eve 2025,” Seinfeld, 71, wrote in a caption of the post as the trio were seen laughing and giggling at a home together.
Fans of the beloved sitcom were quick to head to the comments section to share their surprise at the reunion.
“My favorite people I’ve never met in person 😍❤️,” one fan wrote, while another added: “It’s a festivus miracle !!!!”
“This wins the Christmas Eve internet hands down,” one jested.
Seinfeld is one of the most successful TV series ever made.

Created by Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David, the season premiered on July 5 1989 and ran for 180 episodes across nine seasons.
It follows Jerry’s world anchored by three best friends; George Costanza (Jason Alexander), his neurotic and perpetually dishonest best pal; Elaine Benes (Louis-Dreyfus), Seinfeld’s ex-girlfriend; and Cosmo Kramer (Michael Richards), the eccentric neighbour who frequently “slides” into Seinfeld’s kitchen to raid his fridge.
Decades later, its impact remains undeniable, with phrases like “yada yada yada” and “no soup for you” cemented in pop culture history.
Despite the photo giving some fans hope, in 2021, Seinfeld seemingly shut down rumours of a show reunion.
“There’s absolutely nothing going on,” he said during a press junket at the time.
He said that the cast “wouldn’t be as good” in a reunion setting, and added that he’s pretty content with how everything concluded.
However, in 2023 he brought fresh hope that a reunion could one day be on the cards.
“I have a little secret for you about the [Seinfeld] ending. But I can’t really tell it because it is a secret,” he said at a stand-up show in Boston.

“Here’s what I’ll tell you … but you can’t tell anybody. Something is going to happen that has to do with that ending. Hasn’t happened yet.”
“And just what you are thinking about, Larry [David] and I have also been thinking about. So you’ll see, you’ll see.”
