Salman Khan Asks Protesting Students to Return Home Urges Sonam Wangchuk to End Hunger Strike

A day after Salman Khan extended his support to students protesting against the NEET paper leak, the actor has shared another note on social media. His latest post comes after Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that fast-track courts would handle paper leak cases and promised stringent action against those responsible.

Sharing a photo of himself, Salman wrote, “The students are at top priority, educationally n security-wise, so they need not worry and have their parents worried for them. The Honourable Prime Minister has tweeted, and I am sure that he will take strict action against all those people who are responsible for this leak. So students, plz go back to your parents n homes.”

The actor also urged Sonam Wangchuk to end his hunger strike. He added, “Sonam, it’s done, bro. Don’t extend this. Keep the spirit for another day if there  be a need, which I doubt, n eat something. If u want, will send u food from home.”

Earlier, the actor had penned a long note supporting the protesting students and appreciating the stand they have taken. He also stated that this protest is the right way to go about it.

The protests, which began after allegations of a paper leak and irregularities in the 2026 NEET examination, have gained nationwide momentum in recent weeks. On July 20, thousands of students and protesters participated in the Sansad Chalo march in Delhi, demanding accountability and reforms in the examination system. During the demonstration, several protesters were lathi-charged by the Delhi Police, while tear gas was used to disperse the crowd. The incident sparked widespread outrage, with several public figures and celebrities extending their support to the students.
