Chris Hemsworth may be Thor: God of Thunder, but he’s no Poseidon, God of the Sea – because it seems he can’t cast a fishing line.
The Aussie actor was roasted by a mate during a recent fishing trip when his fishing line got caught in a tree.
“Hey, Hemsy. What’d you catch, mate?” a male voice could be heard laughing off-camera. “He’s got the tree!” Watch above.

The 38-year-old joked along with his mate, saying, “It’s a big one. We had to let him go, though, because of the environment.”
The mishap was shared in a video on Hemsworth’s Instagram page, and it’s proof that even Thor isn’t great at everything.
“Geez how goods fishing. Damn I’m good at it 😂😂,” the actor joked in his caption.

Although Hemsworth had no luck this time around, the Avengers star often goes on fishing trips with his eight-year-old sons, Tristan and Sasha, in tow.
“Epic weekend with these little legends,” he said of one family fishing trip.
Often, the actor brings his wife Elsa Pataky and their eldest child, nine-year-old India, along on the seaside adventures. Last year, the family of five explored the Kimberley region in Western Australia for a spot of quality time and, of course, fishing.
“My men taking care of diner!!” Pataky, 45, captioned a photo of Hemsworth and one of their sons fishing off a cliff.
