Rasha Thadani and Abhay Verma will be sharing the screen for the first time in the upcoming film Laikey Laika. The film’s shoot has been completed, and industry insiders who are working on the post-production of the film are reportedly raving about it.
Abhay Verma has been basking in positive reviews for Safed Sagar, and also has a tremendous lineup with King, JC and Dilkashi, making him one of the most promising actors of the new generation. On the other hand, Rasha has had Uyi Amma as one of the most viral songs we have had in recent times in her debut film Azaad. Besides Laikey Laika, the actress also has a film opposite Vir Hirani, Raj Kumar Hirani’s son.
Now, we are getting to know that the makers of Laikey Laika want to add a solo song for Rasha because of Uyi Amma’s success. This is a part of their promotional strategy.
Our source informs us, “Whoever has watched the film during post-production has said that they loved Abhay and Rasha’s performances. However, in an age where music also plays an important role in Bollywood cinema and considering Rasha has had a hit unlike any other in her generation, the makers want to use that to their advantage. Hence, one more song is being planned to be shot separately, which can work to increase the reach of Bollywood cinemagoers.” 
The genre of the song and details are being kept under wraps while the makers plan to shoot for it soon and prep the film for release.
The posters of the film were released earlier this year. In the posters, Abhay and Rasha are seen embracing each other in a hug. In one of the clicks, they are also seen kissing each other while being bloodied up. In another click, they are forming the ‘heart’ emoticon with their fingers, while having intense expressions on their faces. In their individual character posters, Abhay is seen hiding his face with his hand, while Rasha has a disturbed expression in hers.
The film has been described as a romantic-action entertainer.
