CBFC Film Certification Guidelines Revised After 35 Years: What Has Changed?

The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has revised the guidelines governing film certification in India, updating the framework that has been in place since 1991. Marathi Film Gondhal Chosen As Indiaâs Official Entry For 99th Academy Awards

Santosh Davakhar’s Marathi thriller Gondhal has been selected as India’s official entry for the 99th Academy Awards. The film will compete in the Best International Feature Film category, which was earlier known as Best Foreign Language Film.
