Jessica Biel stars as Candy Montgomery in Hulu’s true-crime limited series “Candy.” To celebrate the show’s release, Biel hit the red carpet with her husband of 10 years, Justin Timberlake, on May 9 for the LA premiere. The pair rarely make red carpet appearances together, but they stepped out looking sharp on Monday, with Biel in a crisp white crop top and high-waisted white pants and Timberlake in a paisley shirt and a glossy suit.
In “Candy,” which Biel also executive produced, the actor portrays Montgomery, who was accused of murdering her friend Betty Gore (who also happened to be her lover’s wife) with an ax in 1980.
Biel’s home life is a huge departure from that of her onscreen counterpart’s. She recently told Entertainment Tonight how she keeps her marriage with Timberlake strong after 10 years. “It’s a really good question, right? Well, I’ll have to give Justin the credit in this moment for this one thing that he always says to me: ‘We might be married, but we have to keep dating.’ And it’s true,” she said. “You just have to keep making time for each other, and you have to keep making each other a priority. And do the things that you love together.”
