Victoria Beckham transforms back into Posh Spice during karaoke night

Victoria Beckham treated fans to a rare, one-night-only Spice Girls performance during a fun karaoke night.

The former popstar, known as Posh Spice, was captured singing along to the hit song ‘Stop’ in footage shared by her husband David Beckham.

A clip of the brief but mesmerising performance was posted onto the football legend’s Instagram with a gushing caption.

“Karaoke night with the one & only Posh Spice,” David wrote, tagging the Spice Girls and Victoria’s Instagram.

In the footage, the 48-year-old danced as she sang along to the classic Spice Girls tune – as the original music video for the song played in the background.

Fans, friends and followers all shared the same sentiment in the comment section.

“Posh girl still got it!” one person wrote. “Forever my favourite Spice,” another added.

“Posh, we have missed you!” another fan said in the comments.

Victoria’s rendition of her former girl band’s iconic song comes after years of speculation over whether Posh Spice would finally reunite with the rest of the Spice Girls.

The band members famously reunited for a comeback tour in 2019 – without their fifth member, Victoria.

Speaking with Vogue Germany, Victoria explained the reasoning behind her decision to not join her former bandmates on tour.

“It took me a lot of courage not to go on tour with the Spice Girls again, but to be the one who says: ‘You know, I’m not doing it because things feel different now than they used to’,” she explained.

The mother-of-four said her priorities have changed since the band was at its peak in the 1990s.

“I’d rather concentrate on my family and my company. I’m 45 now and very happy to be the woman I am…” she added.

“I’m not trying to change, I want to be the best version of myself. Before I turned 40, I wasn’t that confident. I learned to listen to my gut feeling.”

Despite not performing in any of the shows, Victoria showed her support for Mel C, Mel B, Geri Halliwell and Emma Bunton as they embarked on their world tour in 2019.

“Good luck to the girls today as they start their tour!” she wrote on Instagram, adding the hashtag “#FriendshipNeverEnds”.
