Khloé Kardashian has clapped back at a commenter who accused her of using a controversial diabetes drug to lose weight.
Kardashian, 38, received all sorts of backlash after posting her recent photoshoot spread with Sorbet Magazine. Some claimed the photos were heavily retouched, while others suggested the reality star looked like a “twelfth version” of herself.
But it was one comment in particular that had Kardashian immediately replying in the comments.
“The fact that she uses [diabetic] medicine to get this skinny is disturbing,” the user wrote. Reports explain that the user is alluding to the widely popular but controversial method of using injectable diabetes medications like Ozempic and Wegovy to help with weight loss.
The medicines are supposed to regulate insulin levels, but can aid in weight loss by suppressing appetite, according to Diabetes Australia.
A fired-up Kardashian replied in a now-deleted comment, “Let’s not discredit my years of working out. I get up 5 days a week at 6am to train. Please stop with your assumptions. I guess new year still means mean people.”

Others pointed to Kardashian’s odd caption, noting that her tone seemed a little “off”.
“Fun fact: I wore clip on bangs for this shoot,” she wrote. “It was fun to give a different look and not be committed. I am surprised with how much I liked the bangs even though they changed the shape of my face. Would you ever get bangs?”
“Why is this the weirdest caption lmao,” one person commented.
Others went on to criticise the caption, with one user writing, “Let’s be honest here… it’s not just the bangs that changed her face.”
In another now-deleted comment, Kardashian wrote, “I openly talk about my nose job and anyone who ‘looks up’ to me must know I’ve lost over 60 pounds over the years. So recently the only change is the bangs.”
Others pointed to another shot of Kardashian from the shoot, noting that they had confused her with Taylor Swift.
”Really thought this was Taylor swift lol,” one commenter wrote, receiving over 1800 likes.
“Who tf is this,” another wrote, receiving 2,400 likes.
A third simply shared, “Is this the 12th version of Khloe? I lost count.”
