The Aussie actor took to social media to share a video of himself riding in a car on the phone as he wipes tears from his eyes.
Jackman is chuckling to himself in the clip before exclaiming “oh my God” and letting out a held breath.

”😂 #deadpoolandwolverine,” he wrote in the caption, right before making a second post sharing that Deadpool & Wolverine is now the number one movie in the world.
“Thank you ALL!” he wrote alongside an edited version of the Wolverine meme which sees his character lying on the couch holding a framed image.
Inside the image, “#1 MOVIE IN THE WORLD” is written.
The new Marvel movie recently broke the record for the biggest ever opening for an R-rated film in the US.
The old record, held by the original 2016 Deadpool film, was $134m (approx. $205 million AUD) whereas Deadpool & Wolverine raked in a whopping $205 million (approx. $313 million AUD).
And while the record breaking box office hit was filmed in Vancouver, Canada, Jackman and his co-star, Ryan Reynolds, recently told 9honey Celebrity that if they ever make another, we could see Jackman back on home shores.

”If we ever do one of these movies again – if we’re ever lucky enough – we have to shoot Down Under. Right in Sydney,” Reynolds said
“Deadpool Down Under, that sounds pretty good actually.”
Jackman was originally on board with the idea until he realised, ”Hang on, I just got written out of the title.”

It’s been years since Jackman filmed a project back in Australia, with Reynolds joking that his distaste for his home country could be the reason why.
“Australia’s very special to me. He doesn’t care for it too much,” Reynolds joked.
“But shooting there would be fantastic,” he added, before reminding us that Jackman is in fact, “an A-plus Aussie”.
