Nicole Kidman is known for her statuesque physique and Hollywood-star beauty.
But the Aussie actress, 57, has revealed in a new documentary that she was ”teased” growing up over her looks.
Speaking in the In Vogue: The 90s documentary which airs on Hulu, Kidman admitted she had some body insecurities over her height and always wanted to be shorter and “curvaceous”.

“I mean, I was a red-headed, fair-skinned girl who was almost 5’11 at the age of 14,” she said in the series.
“I would get teased, and it wasn’t kind.”
But she remarked how incredible it was for her when designers soon came knocking wanting to dress her for red carpet events when she first found fame.

“Can you believe it?” she said.
“My whole life, I wanted to be 5’2″ and curvaceous and suddenly, being 5’11 and completely sort of skinny and flat chested, was like, ‘Great, we can dress you.'”
The docuseries also features the likes of Anna Wintour, Gwyneth Paltrow and Victoria Beckham.
Its release comes after the actress announced the death of her beloved mother Janelle Ann Kidman and rushed to leave the 81st Venice Film Festival early to be with her family in Australia.

In a touching letter that was read out on her behalf at the event, Kidman said she was “in shock” and said her late mother “shaped me, guided me and made me”.
Nicole previously praised her mother in an interview with The Sydney Morning Herald.
”She’s given me the fire to pursue the career I have because I’ve always wanted to please her,” she said in 2020.
“But she also carved her own path and wanted her daughters to have the same opportunity to carve their own paths.”
