Oasis reportedly bringing reunion tour to Australia in 2025

British rock band Oasis are reportedly heading Down Under next year.

Last month brothers-turned-bandmates Liam and Noel Gallagher announced they are reuniting with their bandmates for their first tour in 15 years.

At the time, the group just announced 2025 stadium shows in the United Kingdom, resulting in fans scrambling to secure a golden ticket to the reunion tour.

But in the latest news, Oasis will bring their highly-anticipated tour to two Australian cities.

NME has reported the iconic ’90s band will tour the US, South America, Asia and Australia in 2025, playing shows in both Melbourne and Sydney.

The music news outlet did not provide any details on venues or dates, but said specifics for the international tour “will be announced soon”.

According to reports the group will play across Canada, the US, Mexico, South Korea, Japan, Brazil, Chile and Argentina.

Oasis includes formerly-feuding brothers and bandmates Noel and Liam Gallagher.

The group was formed in Manchester in 1991 and became arguably one of the biggest bands in the world up until their high-profile split in 2009.

The band is known for hit tracks like Wonderwall, Don’t Look Back in Anger and Stop Crying Your Heart Out.

In August, Oasis fans around the world were overjoyed when it was announced the mega popular band would be reuniting 15 years after they disbanded. 

“Oasis today end years of feverish speculation with the confirmation of a long awaited run of UK and Ireland shows forming the domestic leg of their OASIS LIVE ’25 world tour,” a statement read.

Oasis are set to play 17 shows across the UK in Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Dublin in summer 2025, kicking off on July 4.

“Their only shows in Europe next year, this will be one of the biggest live moments and hottest tickets of the decade.”

More than one million tickets went on sale for the European dates on August 31, with fans scrambling to secure a spot at the reunion.

Within hours, tickets were listed on resale sites for astronomical amounts as much as £6,000 pounds ($11,645).

The band later issued a warning on social media that tickets not sold at face value would not be cancelled.
