Kylie Jenner has broken her silence following the death of her longtime hairstylist, Jesus Guerrero.
“Jesus was more than my friend – he was a light in my life, a source of laughter, comfort, love, and unwavering support,” she wrote in a post on Instagram.
“I don’t know how I would have made it through the last almost decade without him by my side. He had a way of making even the heaviest days feel lighter.”

Guerrero’s family announced the news of his passing in an Instagram story on Sunday February 23, with his younger sister Gris starting up a GoFundMe page that said her brother had died “suddenly and unexpectedly.
In her post, Jenner thanked Guerrero for his unwavering support sharing that the “pain of losing you is just unbearable and I don’t know how to move forward without you but I know great grief is born only of great love. and I loved you so much.”

“Your words, your laughter, your kindness, your beautiful spirit will live in my heart forever. I’ll cherish all our moments together,” she continued.
“Every laugh and hug. I wish I could hug you again. I laid in your bed the way you used to lay in mine, talking for hours.
“I would give anything for one more deep talk. I’m going to miss you so much. more than any words can say. 222 my angel.”
Alongside her heartfelt caption, Jenner shared several images and videos of her and Jesus together over the years.
A source close to Jenner told People that the 27-year-old is “doing everything she can to be supportive and aid his family, including financially”.
They added that Jenner doesn’t want Guerrero’s family to concern themselves about money and is taking care of all expenses associated with his passing, including the funeral.

News of Guerrero’s death was shared on the day of the SAG Awards, at which Jenner’s partner of two years, Timothée Chalamet was nominated for and ultimately won the award for best actor.
So far throughout this awards season Jenner has been by Chalamet’s side to support him, however she wasn’t at the SAG Awards, with Chalamet instead bringing along his mum, Nicole Flender.
Jenner had worked with closely with Guerrero for years, often posting their time together on her Instagram.
Her most recent grid post with Guerrero was shared just weeks before his passing on February 12. The post showed the pair laying in a bed beside one another laughing.
Aside from Jenner, Guerrero’s list of celebrity clients included some of Hollywood’s biggest names such as Katy Perry, Charli XCX, Demi More, Due Lipa and Kendall Jenner.
A cause of death has not been shared at the time of publishing.
