Confirmed Shriya Pilgaonkar to star in a YRF project

Actress Shriya Pilgaonkar made her Bollywood debut back in 2016 alongside Shah Rukh Khan in Fan. Since then, she has carved a unique path with her roles in the film and OTT industries. Director Maneesh Sharma picked her from an audition of 750 girls and she went on to make her mark with performances in projects like the Emmy-nominated Mirzapur, British series Beecham House, Guilty Minds, Broken News, and Taaza Khabar. Now, details about her next have emerged.

Shriya Pilgaonkar is all set to return to Yash Raj Films (YRF) for an exciting new project. A recent behind-the-scenes photo shared by Shriya on social media handle has set off a wave of speculation among fans, who spotted a YRF script in her hand. As per a source close to the production, Shriya will be seen in a completely new avatar.

The project reportedly also stars Vaani Kapoor, Surveen Chawla, and Gullak fame Vaibhav Raj Gupta. With Shriya’s versatility and strong screen presence, anticipation is high for what she brings to this upcoming YRF venture. So far details about the title and plot have not been announced. Her slate of upcoming projects includes Anubhav Sinha’s Abhi Toh Party Shuru Hui Hai. Her last movie outing was in the Marathi-language film Navra Majha Navsacha 2. The film is a sequel to the 2004 film that features Hemal Ingle and Swapnil Joshi.
