Awards season isn’t over just yet! With the Grammys and Oscars finished, Us Weekly is saving the date for the Emmys, Tonys and more major 2025 ceremonies.
First up were the Golden Globes and Critics Choice Awards in January, which shared many nominees including Angelina Jolie (Maria), Demi Moore (The Substance), Timothée Chalamet (A Complete Unknown) and Cynthia Erivo (Wicked). However, it was Emilia Pérez star Zoe Saldaña who walked away with a best supporting actress statue from nearly every show, including the Oscars, BAFTAs, Golden Globes and SAG Awards.
Heading into spring, it’ll be musicians who step back into the spotlight with both the Academy of Country Music Awards and the return of the American Music Awards in May. Beyoncé won the 2025 Grammys for Album of the Year and Best Country Album, and the Beyhive is waiting to see whether the ACMs give her similar honors. Meanwhile, Kendrick Lamar cleaned up at the Grammys, and his fans will be voting for him to do the same at the AMAs, which are back for the first time since 2022.
