Liam Hemsworth has given fans a small insight into his engagement to model fiancée Gabriella Brooks.
The actomr who usually likes to keep his personal life very private, told Jimmy Fallon he “didn’t have a big plan” for his proposal “a few months back”.
“I didn’t have a huge plan behind the engagement,” he said during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

“I mean, I had enough of a plan to have bought the ring, but I was sort of just waiting for the right moment.”
Fallon jokingly asked if he’d manage to find the right moment to pop the question to the 29-year-old beauty, to which the 35-year-old said he was just relieved “she said yes”.
Hemsworth also explained the couple’s recent trip to the Maldives after getting engaged was just a holiday after he wrapped filming on the show and not a pseudo honeymoon.
The 35-year-old Australian actor was on the late night talk show to promote his new TV series The Witcher, a role which he takes over from Henry Cavill after three seasons.

The couple, who were first romantically linked in December 2019, announced their engagement in September.
Brooks had first been spotted with the big sparkler on her ring finger in August, sparking speculation the couple were set to tie the knot.
It’s not the first time Hemsworth’s commented on the engagement publicly, saying they were “super excited” during an appearance on the US Today Show.
He also spoke about the couple’s recent holiday during that TV interview too.

“I finished shooting about three weeks ago and went straight to a tropical island and let my hair down… or took my hair off,” he quipped, referencing his long-haired wig in the series.
“It’s a happy time in life,” he added.
Hemworth was previous married to Miley Cyrus for a year, with the couple divorcing in 2019, after a decade together.
