The long-rumoured Beckham family feud has reached explosive new heights.
On Sunday evening, Cruz Beckham, 20, came to the defence of his parents, David and Victoria after a report circulated they had unfollowed their son Brooklyn on Instagram.
Cruz slammed the reports in an Instagram story, sensationally claiming instead that the couple “woke up blocked” – and that he did, too.
Alongside a photo of the news report about his parents, Cruz wrote: “NOT TRUE.
“My mum and dad would never unfollow their son… Let’s get the facts right.
“They woke up blocked… as did I.”
It’s one of the first times a Beckham family member has addressed the public feud head-on.

Brooklyn, 26, has remained silent on the claims.
The post comes months after Cruz and his older brother Romeo, 23, unfollowed Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz on Instagram.
The move has followed months of speculation about the feud, with Brooklyn failing to attend huge life events of his parents including David’s knighthood and his 50th birthday celebrations.
The catalyst for the original feud is said to have stemmed between Victoria and her daughter-in-law Nicola.
It’s claimed Nicola made a last-minute decision to snub the wedding dress her mother-in-law designed specifically for her from her own designer label, to instead wear a custom Valentino Haute Couture gown down the aisle, along with two others by Dior and Versace.
The decision reportedly caused a lot of tension between the new family members.
Additional reports claimed Victoria, 51, was shunned from being involved in the wedding planning (which ended Nicola’s father suing the wedding planners they had chosen), and that the Beckhams were not invited to sit at the top table with the Peltz family and their son at the wedding.
It was months later that more cracks started to show, first when Brooklyn and his wife were unable to make his father’s April pre-birthday celebrations in Florida in the US, where the couple reside.

Then they could not make Victoria’s 51st birthday celebrations on a yacht the same month.
Brooklyn stayed silent on social media when David was knighted, a monumental celebration he’d waited his entire career for.
Despite the snub, Victoria did shout at Brooklyn at the premiere of her Netflix documentary in October, even though he was again absent from the event.
It’s believed Brooklyn and Nicola will spend Christmas without the Beckham clan this year, marking another sad twist in the Beckham feud tale.
