A man in Texas has been accused of breaking into his pregnant ex-girlfriend’s house and shooting both her and her mother as the ex’s three young children watched in horror.
Christopher Mike allegedly broke into his ex Sylvia Scott’s Fort Worth home through a back door on November 19, where he hid until she arrived with her mother, Allura Stewart.
Scott, 32, opened up about the experience while speaking to local outlet KDFW, claiming that she was “shot in the neck” by Mike, 32, as she entered the residence through a garage door. She then said that the bullet went “through my face.”
“He just appeared out of nowhere and shot her and looked at me and shot me,” Stewart recalled of the experience. “Then he ran deeper into the house, and I thought he was going to hurt the kids.”
Both Scott and Stewart are currently recovering from their injuries sustained in the attack. Scott explained that her lasting injuries have made it difficult for her to speak and eat. Meanwhile, she did not share an update about how Stewart was doing amid the recovery process.

Both Scott and Stewart are currently recovering from their injuries sustained in the attack. Scott explained that her lasting injuries have made it difficult for her to speak and eat. Meanwhile, she did not share an update about how Stewart was doing amid the recovery process.
Scott went on to claim that Mike was violent throughout their relationship. It is not currently clear how long they were romantically involved, though she said their relationship ended in November after she became pregnant with his child. While she confirmed that he is her unborn child’s biological father, Scott did not share if she and Mike planned to raise the child together.
KDFW reported that Scott managed to crawl to her car after she was shot and called 911.
She also shared that her unborn baby survived the attack, while her other children — who are 3, 4 and 8 — witnessed the shooting. While she said the three young kids were not targeted in the recent attack, Scott noted that her children have been having nightmares in light of their many experiences with Mike.
“There were a number of events that happened before this one,” Scott said of her experiences with her ex.
Mike and Scott reportedly lived together before their split, and he seemingly moved out after they called it quits.
She also told the outlet that she believes Mike was tracking her location after their split, sharing that he likely managed to keep tabs on her through an Apple iPad he left with her when he moved out of the home.
“I don’t feel at ease,” Scott admitted to the outlet.

Mike was arrested shortly after the incident. He has since been charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, burglary and kidnapping in connection with the alleged incident, according to online records viewed by Us Weekly.
He is currently being held without bond, while he is scheduled to appear in court on January 5, 2026. It is not currently clear if Mike has entered a plea or obtained legal representation.
The Osage County Sheriff’s Office did not immediately respond to Us Weekly’s request for comment.
