Lewis Hamilton has shut down questions about his love life.
The F1 Driver was asked about his relationship with Kim Kardashian by reporters in an off-camera press conference in Bahrain as he attended the first week of testing ahead of the next Formula One season.
Hamilton reportedly swiftly shut down the question, according to Sky News reporter Ted Kravitz.
“I can tell you he was asked [about her] in the written press,” he said in a video posted to X.
“He was asked, ‘Did you enjoy your company more than the game at the Super Bowl?'”
“And he said: ‘It’s my private life. I’m not talking about that.’ So, that’s me told,” the reporter added of Hamilton’s reply.
He added that he was going to ask another question related to Kim, but he “chickened out.”
”He was never going to give me an answer, though, was he?” he added.
Hamilton and Kardashian have fuelled dating rumours the past two weeks, starting with a romantic stay at a luxury couples getaway at Estelle Manor in the Cotswolds, UK, last week.
The TV star was pictured in London on Sunday evening, following her stay at the resort on Saturday.
She was reportedly joined by Hamilton, who flew in via Helicopter, an hour after her arrival.
The Sun reports a source as claiming the trip appeared to be “very romantic,” with Kim and Lewis making use of all the facilities on offer.
The couple popped up again at the Super Bowl, sitting side by side and at the Seattle Seahawks vs. New England Patriots matchup.
The couple’s relationship seems to be fairly new, as Kardashian told her sister Khloe she was single in an episode of the “Khloé In Wonder Land” podcast last month.
She confessed that she hasn’t been secretly dating anyone in the past year, and instead, has been focusing on her family.
“I just feel like my kids need me,” she said.
“It’s really hard when I have to put them to bed every night. I get them up. I take them to school. I get them ready.”
“They sleep in my bed. I haven’t had time – and I’m okay with that.
“I thought, ‘You know what? I’m going to be studying. I won’t have time. When I’m done, I’ll open myself up.'”
